Developer DarkStone Digital and publisher DreadXP have released the horror game *Playable Archive*.

A Reconstructed Version of a Canceled Project

This short horror game lets players relive an archive containing records of unexplained events. It is said to be a reimagined version of a project that Brian Clarke of DarkStone Digital had been working on for several years but was ultimately canceled, created to bring at least part of it to the public.

A married couple living in New England discovers a mysterious object while renovating their home. Eventually, they find themselves caught up in demonic rituals, communication with the dead, and shifts in the timeline.

The game takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete, and since there is no save function, players must play through to the end in one sitting.

Available for free on Steam

"Playable Archive" is available for free on Steam. The store page lists English as the only supported language.
