Is About a Quarter of the Workforce Facing Layoffs?

According to reports from overseas media and screenshots shared by users, Auroch Digital announced that it has begun a round of layoffs affecting approximately one-quarter of the studio’s employees.

While the company’s titles have received solid reviews to date, the studio stated, “Current challenging market conditions have affected us as well, and we have decided to restructure the studio to weather the turbulent gaming industry.”

The company also posted a message seeking support for its staff’s reemployment, addressing other companies in the gaming industry: “If you are currently hiring, please consider hiring our staff. They possess the talent and broad experience gained from working across all genres, from indie shooters to co-development of AAA titles.”

However, a few hours later, all posts regarding the layoffs were deleted. Questions have been raised on X, such as “Did you post that by mistake?” and “Why did you delete the posts about the layoffs?” but there has been no new announcement from Auroch Digital as of yet.
