Sega has posted a new teaser image on the official X account for *VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS*, the latest installment in the popular 3D fighting game series.
New footage to be released on October 30?
The post shows an image of a woman in a dress and a blonde figure faintly visible in the background, along with the text “10/30 0:00 (JST).” It appears there will be some kind of announcement at midnight on October 30, Japan Standard Time.
While the Japanese official X account has only posted this single image, the international official X account has added a note to a similar post, stating, “Don’t forget to follow the official *VIRTUA FIGHTER* YouTube channel and turn on notifications!” Based on this, it’s safe to assume that some kind of video will be released.
It’s unclear who the blonde figure visible at the edge of the image is, but blonde characters have appeared in past titles in the series. Whether the announcement will reveal the inclusion of one of those characters or the debut of a completely new character, we’ll have to keep our eyes on the October 30 announcement.
*VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS* is currently in development, with a target release date of 2027. Supported platforms and other details have not yet been announced.
