"Noranuko," an independent developer and VTuber, announced that the horror strategy game *Magical Girl Emergency Surgery* will be released on October 27.
“Doctor, we have an emergency!” The lives of the magical girls rest in the player’s hands
Set in a “Temporary Emergency Hospital” where magical girls injured in a monster disaster are brought in, this game puts you in the role of the acting hospital director for just one week. You’ll make various decisions—such as accepting patients and transferring them to relevant agencies—as well as performing actual medical treatments.
The magical girls—who serve as patients—suffer from a variety of symptoms, including trauma, internal organ damage, reactions to poison or foreign objects, mental confusion, and magical energy contamination. You must deduce their conditions based on clues such as examinations using thermometers and stethoscopes, conversations, physical appearance, and medical records. You then proceed with treatment using medical items appropriate for each symptom.
As a medical professional, you’ll want to save as many patients’ lives as possible, but the number of hospital beds and the player’s stamina—which is consumed during examinations—are limited. As the acting hospital director, you’ll also be required to make various decisions, such as refusing to admit patients or responding to requests for patient transfer from related organizations.
It has been announced that this game will be released on October 27. It features 11 different multi-endings, with all 10 patients being magical girls with voice acting. The game also reportedly contains elements of depression and mild horror.
