FAKKU posted on its official X account a message that seems to hint at a re-release of the bishoujo game *Cosmic Psycho*, developed by Cocktail Soft.
A Re-release?! A work of delicate yet bold pixel art featuring a plot with sudden twists and turns
“Cosmic Psycho” is a sci-fi adventure game with adult content that was released in 1991 for the PC-98 series and other platforms. As an ordinary modern cram school student summoned to a futuristic world, you’ll enjoy a roller-coaster-like, fast-paced storyline filled with interactions with beautiful girls, all rendered with graphics that were delicate and beautiful for their time and bold, sharp animations.
In July, FAKKU made a lightning-fast announcement regarding the Steam port of *Dengeki Nurse*, which was released around the same time as *Cosmic Psycho*. This time, however, they posted an image of one of the heroines from *Cosmic Psycho* along with a comment that stirs anticipation: “Did you think that was the end!?”Although it seems likely to come after the release of *Dengeki Nurse*, the possibility of a *Cosmic Psycho* re-release is very high.
*Dengeki Nurse* Development Diary Emphasizes Love for the Original Art Style
Additionally, on October 15, a *Dengeki Nurse* development diary was published. It touches on the evolution of pixel art techniques resulting from differences in hardware specifications at the time of the original game’s release, and passionately emphasizes their love for the art style of that era and the significance of this port, accompanied by fascinating insights.
