Nintendo announced that it will be adding three titles—*Mogura~nya*, *Pinball: 66 Crocodiles on the March*, and *Phantasm*—to “Game Boy Nintendo Classics,” a service for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
*Mogura~nya*—A Digging Puzzle Game Created by Shigeru Miyamoto
Released by Nintendo on July 21, 1996, this is an action-puzzle game for the Game Boy. Development was handled by Nintendo’s Information Development Division and Pax Softnica, with Shigeru Miyamoto serving as producer and Masayuki Kameyama as director.

Players control the mole protagonist, “Mogura~nya,” moving between the surface and underground to reach the stage exit. The game involves throwing black balls to defeat enemies and break walls to clear a path, with over 200 stages included.
The cartridge version also featured a two-player versus mode, “VS Mode,” played via a communication cable. However, this mode is not available in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console version, which was released on November 7, 2012. It is unclear from the released footage whether versus play has been restored in this version.
“Pinball: 66 Crocodiles on the March” — A Table Full of Crocodiles
This is a Game Boy pinball game released by HAL Laboratory on October 18, 1989. The table’s gimmicks are made up of comical alligators, and the original Game Boy version supported two-player gameplay.

According to HAL Laboratory’s official website, the core programming for this title was of exceptionally high quality. This technology was reportedly passed down to later titles such as *Kirby’s Pinball* and *Pokémon Pinball*, released by Nintendo.
*Phantasm*—An Action Game Where You Possess Others as a Spirit
Released by Jaleco on November 6, 1992, this is a side-scrolling action game for the Game Boy. Originally released as an arcade game in 1991, the Game Boy version featured numerous modifications.

The story follows a protagonist who is shot and killed while trying to stop a group of men from abducting his girlfriend on a date, only to return as a spirit. To save his girlfriend, he possesses enemy characters one after another, controlling them as he progresses through the game—a mechanic that defines the title.
It has been announced that *Mogura-nya*, *Pinball: 66 Crocodiles on the March*, and *Phantasm* will be added to the “Game Boy Nintendo Classics” lineup for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can play these titles at no additional cost.As of this writing, the release dates have not been announced.
