On October 21, Capcom announced that it would conduct unscheduled maintenance on the fighting game *Street Fighter V (STREET FIGHTER V)* to fix bugs.
This announcement was made on the official Street Fighter X (formerly Twitter) account. Ten years have passed since its release in February 2016, and with the sequel, *Street Fighter 6*, having been released in June 2023, it is an unusual move to conduct unscheduled maintenance on the previous title, *Street Fighter V*.

According to the official X post, the team has confirmed that “unintended issues” are currently occurring in *Street Fighter V* and will perform emergency maintenance to resolve them. Specific details regarding the nature of the issues, their causes, or the scope of their impact have not been disclosed.

Additionally, the end date and time of the maintenance are currently undecided, and the announcement states, “We will provide another update once maintenance is complete.” The official account commented, “We apologize for the inconvenience to our users and appreciate your cooperation,” and players are awaiting service restoration and further updates.
