At the “ID@Xbox Showcase” held today, October 21, Plotrick unveiled the latest trailer for its upcoming stealth adventure game *RUSTOWN* and announced that it will be released on June 30, 2027.
Into the Slums in Search of His Father
Set five years after the “idiot virus” pandemic, this is a story-driven game.After receiving a letter from her father—who went missing three years ago while suffering from aftereffects of the infection that caused memory loss and diminished intelligence—the protagonist, Jian, sets foot in “Rustown,” a slum formed by infected individuals who have been cast out by society.
Using various tools, Jian explores Rasta Town through nonviolent stealth, tracking down his father while encountering its residents.As Gian pieces together information and clues gathered through conversations—such as why his father vanished and what is happening in this town—the background of the incident and the relationships between the people are revealed, allowing him to gradually understand the people of RUSTOWN and the world in which they live.
Plotrick states, “We want to offer a heartwarming story to people weary of hatred.” *RUSTOWN* is scheduled for release on June 30, 2027, for PC (Steam/Microsoft Store) and XBOX Series X|S.
