Mythwright has set the release date for the space cleaning sim *Cleaner Company* for January 29, 2027.
"Cleaner"—the most in-demand profession in the space industry
Set in space, this cleaning simulator supports multiplayer for up to four players, where you join the crew of a cleaning company to clean up facilities that have become filthy on a cosmic scale. You’ll clean spaceships, lunar bases, and other facilities—where blood-stained floors are littered with human body parts and trash—until they’re sparkling clean.
Cleaning tools include mops for removing blood splatters and trash shredders capable of disposing of human body parts. Additionally, you can purchase items like “Cleaning Grenades,” which, when detonated, use a black hole to suck up surrounding debris.
You can’t let your guard down while cleaning. If you’re attacked by creatures, switch your mop to a gun and fight them off.
You can also enable an option to disable monsters and simply enjoy a leisurely cleaning session. Once you finish cleaning, you’ll receive your paycheck. With the money you earn, you can upgrade your equipment, of course, but you can also boost stats that might not seem related to cleaning—such as HP, damage, and speed.
*Cleaner Company* is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) on January 29, 2027. A demo version, where you can enjoy cleaning missions in a space restaurant, is also currently available.
