Beast Studios has released a demo version of the open-world survival game *Never Be Alone* for PC (Steam).
An open-world survival game set in a world teeming with infected creatures
Set in a desolate world 10 years after an outbreak, this open-world survival game follows a character who wakes up with amnesia and must carve out a place for themselves. It supports both solo play and online co-op for as many players as the host’s PC can handle.

Spanning three islands, each with its own unique locations, dangers, secrets, and stories, players will experience over 30 story missions. They’ll explore dangerous zones teeming with 11 types of infected creatures—each with distinct characteristics—to gather resources, and interact with various factions in safe zones.
Furthermore, the infected aren’t your only enemies. Depending on your choices, you’ll also have to face human threats such as the military, bandits, and looters.
As of September, the game had surpassed 185,000 wishlist entries, and Early Access is scheduled to begin on December 8.
In the demo, it’s recommended that you take a little time before starting your adventure to adjust the gameplay settings and customize your character. Controller support is reportedly almost fully implemented, though there are still a few issues being worked out.
Additionally, there is a possibility that the third-person camera may glitch upon first launch; in this case, moving the FOV slider by just 0.1 should resolve the issue. The developers have also discussed what areas they plan to focus on before the Early Access release, so please check the Steam News for details.
