Investigate Mysterious Incidents as a Special Operations Agent
Set in the 1990s, this mod casts you as a special operations agent tasked with investigating mysterious incidents occurring in remote areas of the former Soviet Union. You must explore every corner of abandoned industrial zones and urban areas, fend off attacks from unidentified hostile forces, and protect humanity from a deadly threat.
A Vast Amount of New Content Added
According to the developers, this version incorporates feedback from players and adds a massive amount of new content created from scratch over the past year. It reportedly includes extensive optimization, a complete overhaul of the weapon system, reworked enemy characters, a revamped subtitle system, and numerous code improvements and bug fixes.
“IONIZATION” is currently available on ModDB (please install at your own risk).The full version is scheduled for release in 2027 and will include all the story content from Early Access versions 1.0 and 2.0, as well as an ending, bug fixes, improved graphics and a unified visual style, additional enemies, and a significantly expanded arsenal of weapons.
