Arc System Works has released a game introduction trailer for the character-development RTA simulation RPG *Demon's Knight Fever*.
This new SRPG is produced by Sohei Shinkawa, formerly of Nippon Ichi Software.Mr. Shinkawa is a creator who has worked on the *Makai Senki Disgaea* series and other titles, and he is also active as a novelist and content creator under the pen name Roman Kitayama. The official website states that Roman Kitayama is handling the original concept and scenario, while Sohei Shinkawa serves as producer.

“Demon’s Night Fever” is a game that bills itself as “Kill, kill, kill—enemies and allies alike! A character-building RTA simulation RPG where you get stronger the more you die.”While based on a classic grid-based simulation, it features a ruthless combat system called the “Minion Exploitation System,” where you mercilessly sacrifice your allies. The more evil deeds you commit, the more vicious your army becomes, giving you an advantage in the game.
In the story, the evil god “Gigasgoides,” who has been reduced to a baby, teams up with “Kyoshiro,” a boy who hates the world, to commit every possible act of “evil” in order to regain his power. The released trailer showcases the game’s extreme concept of sacrificing both enemies and allies alike, as well as a glimpse of its SRPG combat system.
The fact that this is a new SRPG from a former Nippon Ichi Software creator alone is sure to remind many players of the *Disgaea* series. All eyes are on how the game’s unique elements will shape this “Evil Simulation RPG.”
*Demon’s Night Fever* is scheduled for release in 2026 on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) for 4,950 yen.
