A Revived “RPG of Eternity and Bonds”

This RPG was released on October 15 (October 16 for the Steam version). It is part of the *Tales of* series and is a remastered version of *Tales of Eternia*, which was known as the “RPG of Eternity and Bonds.”

It garnered significant attention even before its release, with debates over the merits of added features like the “Boost Function” and “High-Speed Mode,” as well as buzz surrounding the ability to switch fonts for a retro “Classic” display.

"Very Well-Received" for Its Nostalgic Appeal

The “Melnikese Language Generator” is now available on the official website

While this title received a Metascore of 76 (PS5 version, 13 reviews) from overseas critics—with some noting it was “too basic by modern standards”—as of this writing (October 17), 89% of 85 Steam reviews rate it “Recommended,” making it “Very Positive.”

While the remaster’s high quality and the added features that make it more playable are receiving high praise, many players who are nostalgic for the game’s heyday are enjoying this cherished title once again.

On the other hand, there are also voices expressing dissatisfaction with the remaster’s quality, with some calling for improvements to the controls and UI.

"Tales of Eternia Remaster" is currently available for PS5/PS4, XBOX Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Windows (Steam).
