A Japanese-language demo version of *Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered*—the remastered edition of *Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee* scheduled for release on November 3, 2026—has been released for PC.
Coming to Japan, too!? Please note that the demo is available for a limited time only.
This title is an arena fighting game based on the “Godzilla” series, originally released in 2002. Twelve monsters, including Godzilla and King Ghidorah, join the fray, and the game features eight stages, such as Monster Island. In addition to single-player and local/online multiplayer modes, the gameplay and various unlock systems have been improved from the original.
Although this remaster was developed by Pipeworks—the same studio behind the original—it was initially announced as an overseas release, and the Steam store page for the PC version was inaccessible from within Japan.
However, as of October 16, 2026, when the PC demo was released, the Steam store page became accessible in Japan. Not only has the store description been translated, but the demo itself can also be downloaded from within Japan.
This demo allows players to enjoy single-player, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer modes; it supports Japanese and will be available for a limited time until October 27.
Incidentally, regarding the console versions announced for international markets, no Japanese game pages have been confirmed as of this writing.
*Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered* will be released for PC (Steam) on November 3. As of this writing, the console versions (PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2) are scheduled for release internationally.
