Publisher Fireshine Games has released the latest update for *Dawn of Defiance*, a Greek mythology-themed action-adventure game developed by Traega Entertainment that supports both single-player and cooperative online multiplayer, and has released a promotional video.
Third Major Update, “Hounds of Zeus,” Now Available
Following the first major update, “Sisters of the Deep,” in June 2025, and the second, “Desert Reign,” in December of the same year, the third major update, “Hounds of Zeus,” has now been released.
As with previous updates, the new content—including new areas and raids—is outlined below.
“Hounds of Zeus” Update Overview
New Raid “Temple of Zeus” Added—A new raid set in the
Sky Arena where players battle three new Harpy bosses. Defeating them rewards players with powerful new gear.Frigid Biome and Lava Cave Dungeon Added to the Smolikas Mountains—In the
Frigid Biome, players will need to take precautions against the cold, such as using fire and eating food. The status effects and temperature systems have also been revamped for greater clarity. The area features new landmarks, enemies, materials, puzzles, and secret elements.In the “Frostburn”
lava cave, combat intensifies in stages. You can also mine sulfur, a new resource.New Enemies—
In addition to the Harpies in raids, Centaurs make their debut as new enemies in the Smolikas Mountains. “Captain Commanders,” upgraded versions of the soldier-type enemies found throughout the map, also appear.Multiple new pieces of equipment—

The update raises the skill level cap from 25 to 50. Players can further enhance each skill through the NPC “Platon” in the Dark Forest.
