[Up to 4 Players] Explore Scandinavia as a witch's familiar! Demo for “Hela: The Little Mouse and the Enchanted Forest” now out.

Windup Games released the first-ever free demo of its open-world adventure *Hela: The Little Mouse and the Enchanted Forest* at the indie game showcase “Triple-i Initiative Showcase.”

Little mice run wild through the great outdoors of Scandinavia!

Set against the backdrop of Sweden’s beautiful natural landscapes, this 3D open-world adventure lets you take on the role of a little mouse.

Players control a mouse familiar serving a kind-hearted witch. To save the witch, who has fallen ill, you’ll explore a vast world, gather materials to craft magical potions, and help animals in need as you embark on your adventure.

Your companion on this adventure is “Magic Frog Ruck,” who possesses mysterious powers. You can explore the natural world by using a variety of actions, such as swinging like a rope or gliding through the air.

The game also supports cooperative play for up to four players. Even when playing solo, you can use a spell to create clones to help solve puzzles and navigate traps. The demo released this time allows you to experience part of the game’s world and basic gameplay.

"Hela: The Little Mouse and the Enchanted Forest" is scheduled for release on December 1 for PC (Steam/Epic Games Store), PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. In Japan, Shochiku Games will handle publishing.
