On October 9, 2026, Assemble Entertainment announced that it would end sales on Steam of the two titles in the "Leisure Suit Larry" series—the adult adventure game *Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry*, developed by CrazyBunch, and *Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice*, both developed by CrazyBunch, on Steam as of October 23.
Is this the definitive end to the erotic adventure series that has been running since 1987?
The *Leisure Suit Larry* series is an adventure game series that began with *Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards*, released by Sierra Online in 1987 for the international PC market. In these games, Larry—a nerdy middle-aged man—aims to form relationships with various women, and the series gained popularity among adult men overseas, leading to the creation of a franchise.
However, in 2025, sales of the series’ older titles on Steam were discontinued. This left only the two titles in the series developed by CrazyBunch still available on Steam.
Now, it has been announced that sales of those remaining two titles on Steam will also end on October 23.
While the Steam news page where this announcement was made does not provide details on the reasons for the discontinuation, it includes messages such as “Unfortunately, we can’t say anything about his future” and “Please give Larry a fitting send-off,” suggesting that a revival of the series is unlikely.
*Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don’t Dry* will be available on PC (Steam) for 3,499 yen, and *Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice* will be available on PC (Steam) for 3,600 yen until October 23.
Although the link to the Steam News on the Steam store page states that “a sale with up to 95% off is running until October 23,” as of this writing, the sale does not appear to be active. Please note that neither title supports Japanese.
