Team17 has released "Silver Pines," a Metroidvania-style survival horror game developed by Wych Elm.

Inspired by classic survival horror games

This 2.5D survival horror game features hand-drawn rotoscoped animation and a striking neo-noir aesthetic.

Players take on the role of private detective Red Walker and search for the missing musician Eddie Velvet while exploring the small American town of “Silver Pines,” where the game is set.

The map features a wealth of locked doors and hidden passages, and the game employs a Metroidvania-style system where your range of exploration expands as you uncover new clues and items.

Monsters lie in wait wherever Walker goes, and formidable bosses also make an appearance. Managing resources such as ammunition and healing items is crucial, and since reloading firearms like the revolver involves QTEs, the gameplay promises to be fast-paced and intense.

*Silver Pines* is now available for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, XBOX Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
