Serenity Forge announced that *Springs, Eternal*, an exploration-based narrative game developed by Fullbright, will be released for PC (Steam) on November 12, 2026, and also released a free demo.
Unravel your own past through conversations with visitors
This first-person narrative game follows you as you explore “Stillwater Springs,” a remote, nighttime hot spring resort, and uncover the secrets hidden there.
Players take on the role of a guest visiting the resort, exploring the area around the hot springs by the light of a flashlight. As you wander through lit lodges, a dark forest with an eerie atmosphere, and underground caves, you may encounter beings that seem otherworldly.

The resort features over 12 unique characters, each with their own backstories. With over 30,000 words of dialogue, players will use dialogue options to uncover connections between the guests’ pasts and their own, while also revisiting the protagonist’s own past romantic memories.

The developer, Fullbright, is the studio behind the exploration adventure game *Gone Home*, in which players piece together a family’s story through personal belongings and letters left behind in an empty house.
Co-founder Steve Gaynor, who served as scenario designer for that title and the “Minerva’s Den” DLC for *BioShock 2*, announced in 2023 that he would transition to solo development following workplace issues related to his conduct. For this title, he is primarily working on the project alone, though with some external collaboration.
*Springs, Eternal* is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) on November 12, 2026. It supports Japanese, and a demo version is currently available.
