【Free Weekend】“Core Keeper” 8-player mining sandbox ADV event starts 2am Oct 9! Dig underground with friends over 3-day holiday

Fireshine Games and Pugstorm have announced a Free Weekend (free weekend play) for the PC (Steam) version of the mining sandbox adventure game *Core Keeper*, running from 2:00 a.m. on October 9 to 2:00 a.m. on October 13, Japan Standard Time.

Enjoy a Slow-Paced Life in the Underworld

This top-down sandbox action-adventure game lets you explore vast underground caverns rendered in pixel art. Players take on the role of an explorer, mining resources, crafting tools and gear, building a base, and battling enemies while unraveling the mysteries surrounding the ancient “Core.”

In addition to taking your time to play solo, the game supports online co-op for up to 8 players, with drop-in and drop-out functionality. With elements like fishing, farming, and raising animals, you can enjoy your own unique “slow life.”

This Free Weekend includes the latest update, “The Underground Rider,” released on September 21, in its entirety. The new “Saddle” item lets you ride livestock to explore the world, while the newly added “Hookshot” allows you to leap over crevices and holes, making exploration even smoother.

Additionally, save data created during the Free Weekend can be transferred to the full version (Steam edition). Why not try it out for free first, then venture even deeper into the underground world?
