Independent game developer RRR has released a demo version of “CodePhantom,” a 3D action game featuring humanoid combat mechs that he is developing. A “game trailer” has also been released.
Pilot the humanoid mech “PHANTOM” and defeat enemies by increasing your sync rate

This 3D action game has you pilot the humanoid mech “PHANTOM” and race across the battlefield using boosts, jumps, and sidesteps. The premise is that the pilot is synaptically linked to the mech; as you engage in combat with enemies, your sync rate with the mech improves, enhancing all of its capabilities.

When the sync rate exceeds its limit and enters the “Over-Sync” state, you can engage in ultra-high-speed combat on a whole new level.

The PHANTOM can be equipped with a variety of weapons, each with distinct characteristics, such as rifles, gatling guns, shotguns, handguns, and blades. Since the mech’s characteristics change significantly depending on the weapons chosen, it’s crucial to select the right combination to match your combat style and the mission at hand.

*CodePhantom* is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) in late 2026. A demo version is currently available. The game will also be featured in the “Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition,” taking place from October 20 to October 27, Japan Standard Time.
