On October 8, 2026, One or Eight released a demo version of the village-building action RPG *"LOL, The Demon King's Castle Is Right Next Door to My House www"* for PC (Steam).
Your Neighbor Is an Idol Demon Lord! An action RPG where you develop your village while fending off attacks from the “Demon Madness Banquet” (live concert)
This title is the latest village-building action RPG from “Team EARTH WARS,” the development team known for games such as *EARTH WARS* and *LOST EPIC*.Saved by the Goddess from a soul on the verge of vanishing and summoned to the alternate world of “Luna,” the player—as a “Bounder” possessing the power of creation—repairs a dilapidated house, gathers companions, and works to build a village.
However, towering right next to the peaceful village is the “Demon King’s Castle.” Every time the idol Demon King holds a “Demon Frenzy Banquet (Live),” frenzied monsters swarm into the village in droves, so you must work together with the villagers to defend your base and stand up to them.
The game features over 30 types of craftable structures. By wearing different “hats” imbued with the power of the goddess, you can switch your playstyle between more than 20 different professions—ranging from production roles like farmers and lumberjacks to combat roles like warriors and mages.
You can also give hats to villagers, allowing you to automate village tasks like farming and cooking, or take them along as allies to explore or repel invaders—enjoying a wide variety of strategic options.

"LOL, the Demon King’s Castle Is Right Next Door to My House lol" is scheduled to launch in Early Access for PC (Steam) on November 13, 2026. A demo is currently available, and the game will also participate in the online event "Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition," scheduled to begin on October 20 (Japan Time).
The official release is scheduled for winter 2027, and versions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 are also scheduled for release in 2027.
