On October 6, Solo Groove Games began accepting registrations for an upcoming playtest of the multiplayer action game *Figure Me Out* for PC (Steam).
Intense strategic gameplay centered on numbers on players’ foreheads
This first-person survival action game, which supports up to 20 players, involves reading the four-digit numbers displayed on other players’ foreheads and entering those numbers to eliminate them.

Various items come into play on the map; for example, you can use binoculars to observe distant opponents or blind them with a flashbang grenade to escape without your number being read. Taking a photo with a camera also makes it easier to confirm the number of an opponent who briefly appears.
Some players might try to avoid detection by facing a wall, but based on the trailer, it appears that doing so will result in a penalty.
In addition to “Deathmatch,” where players compete individually, the game features “Team Deathmatch” and “Capture the Flag,” where players battle to seize the enemy’s flag. Each mode involves strategic maneuvering as players try to uncover each other’s numbers.

Although the game was just announced on October 1, it’s already gaining attention—notably after being featured by indie game influencer Indie Game Joe. On the international forumReddit, users have also been posting comments praising the game’s concept.
To participate in this free playtest, which is being held against this backdrop, you can apply via the “Request Access” button on the Steam store page. However, not all applicants will be able to participate; selected players will be invited in phases.
The playtest is scheduled to take place on weekends within three weeks of today’s announcement (October 6), with specific dates to be announced before the test begins.
“Figure Me Out” is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) in October 2026. As of this writing, the game does not support Japanese.
