Wild Dog announced that the previously delayed ramen shop management simulation *Japanese Ramen Simulator* will be released in Early Access on PC (Steam) starting at 5:00 PM on October 9.

Game Passes Steam Pre-Release Review; Launch Sale Offers 15% Off

According to an announcement on the official Discord server, the game has successfully passed Steam’s pre-release review, and a new release date has been confirmed. The development team has once again apologized for postponing the release from the original date of September 28 and for keeping players waiting without providing a confirmed date.

A launch sale will be held at the start of Early Access, allowing players to purchase the game for 1,615 yen—a 15% discount off the regular price of 1,900 yen. This sale price was set lower than originally planned as a gesture of apology for the delay.

Additionally, it was reported that the number of Steam wishlist entries has surpassed 200,000. Based on feedback received during the closed beta test, the team is working on improving gameplay and fixing bugs, and plans to continue rolling out updates while incorporating player feedback even after Early Access begins.

Delayed Due to Failed Review—Developer CEO Says, “We Submitted It for Review Over Three Weeks Ago”

The game was announced in August and was originally scheduled for release in September.

Subsequently, on September 16, it was announced that the Early Access launch date had been set for September 28 at 9:00 AM; however, even on the scheduled release date, the pre-release review process on Steam had not been completed, preventing the game from going on sale as planned. A new release date was listed as “TBD.”

The following day, on the 29th, Hiroto Nakajo—who gained attention as the “one-man network engineer” in *Palworld* and currently serves as CEO of Wild Dog—reported on his X account that he still hadn’t received the review results. “I submitted it for review over three weeks ago, but I never expected this…” he said, expressing his surprise.

As of September 24, just before the delay was announced, the game had reached 100,000 wishlist entries. This means the number of wishlist entries has doubled in about two weeks.

Experience every aspect of running a ramen shop, from prep to cleanup

This game is a ramen shop management simulation that supports up to six players.

Players handle every aspect of running a ramen shop, from preparing ingredients to cooking, serving, attending to customers, and cleaning up. Your skills are put to the test in areas such as the perfect noodle texture, soup temperature, and serving time, and you can create your own original bowls using physics-based plating. Side dishes such as gyoza, beer, and chashu rice bowls are also available.

During business hours, you may face visits from tough ramen critics, as well as attacks by thieves targeting the cash register or even sudden fires. You’ll need to make full use of items like shuriken and fire extinguishers to navigate these shop crises.

In addition to online co-op play where you can divide tasks with friends, you can also hire part-time staff and run the shop on your own.

“Japanese Ramen Simulator” is scheduled for Early Access release on PC (Steam) starting at 5:00 PM on October 9, 2026. The price is 1,900 yen, but as part of a launch sale, it will be available for 1,615 yen—a 15% discount.

The Early Access period is expected to last approximately six months, and the price of the base game is scheduled to increase in stages as major content updates are added and the official release approaches.
