Hunt to your heart’s content for just 399 yen! Supports co-op play for up to four players

*Monster Hunter Rise* is a hunting action game in the *Monster Hunter* series. It was released for the Nintendo Switch in 2021, and the Steam version debuted in 2022.

In this game, players use the Japanese-style “Kamura Village” as their base to take on hunts for various large monsters.A major feature is the three-dimensional action enabled by “Kakerimushi” (Flying Insects). You can quickly move to cliffs and high ground, or perform “Iron Insect Thread Techniques” unique to each weapon, allowing you to enjoy hunting with a level of mobility that’s particularly high even within the series.

The game also features elements unique to this installment, such as “Ride,” where you mount and control monsters, and “Oto-mo Garuku,” a companion that lets you ride on its back to travel across the field at high speed.

Although it’s been a while since its release, the price of 399 yen makes it easy to invite friends with a casual, “Wanna play Monster Hunter with me?”—which might be a major selling point.

With 14 weapon types available, you can choose to pursue the power of a single strike with a Great Sword, fight with grace using a Katana, or attack from a distance as a Gunner. You can fully enjoy the familiar cycle of hunting monsters, crafting new weapons and armor from their materials, and then taking on even more powerful prey.

"Sunbreak" is also just 598 yen! Embark on hunts against even tougher monsters

And for those who enjoyed the main game, there’s also the massive expansion, *Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak*.

It’s also 85% off during this sale, priced at 598 yen. Set in the new hub “Elgado,” it adds a continuation of the main story, new monsters, and Master Rank quests.

While the main *Rise* game alone, priced at 399 yen, offers plenty of gameplay, if you’re thinking, “At this price, I want to hunt even more,” you might want to check out *Sunbreak* as well.

While *Wilds* is the current main title, the fast-paced movement and combat enabled by the Soaring Insects are unique to this game. This price point should be accessible not only to series newcomers but also to hunters who “played it on a different platform when it first came out but now want the PC version.”

Above all, it’s just 399 yen. When you consider that for the price of a cup of coffee or a small snack, you can spend dozens of hours chasing monsters, it’s quite impressive.
