GOOD FUN CORPORATION has announced that it will hold a closed beta test for the PvPvE escape action game “HUNGER” starting at 6:00 p.m. on October 19 (Japan Standard Time).
Napoleonic-Era PvPvE Escape Action Game Set for Closed Beta!
Set in a desolate Europe during the Napoleonic era, this first-person PvPvE escape action game features “Hungers”—monsters born from the ravages of a plague. The developers say the game aims to fuse elements of FPS, slasher, RPG, and horror genres.
While the game has previously conducted closed technical tests, the developers had previously announced that they were preparing for an open beta. However, they decided against transitioning directly to the open beta in order to conduct server and infrastructure tests on a larger scale than the technical tests. They plan to implement improvements based on the insights gained from this test before launching the open beta.
For this closed beta, participants in the previous technical test are automatically eligible to join, while other users can apply via the Steam store page. The test is scheduled to run from 6:00 PM JST on October 19 through October 26.

*HUNGER* is scheduled for release via Early Access atSteam. As of this writing, Japanese is not listed among the supported languages on the store page.
