"Overwhelmingly Well-Received" Monster-Cooking Side-Scrolling Action Game Sequel 'Dungeon Munchies 2' Launches in Early Access on November 6

maJAJa has announced that early access for the side-scrolling action game *Dungeon Munchies 2: The Second Redemption* will begin on November 6.

Cook alien creatures to power up—show us what you’ve got, Zombie Chef!

This title is the sequel to “Dungeon Munchies.” It’s a side-scrolling action game where you control a zombie chef summoned by his boss, the necromancer Shimmer, to scavenge through the ruins of a vast space colony and cook the swarming alien creatures to enhance his abilities.

From stir-frying on the spot with a plasma spatula to hurling flaming skewers at enemies, every move on display showcases exceptional culinary skills. The dishes created by hunting aliens for ingredients all possess flavors beyond human comprehension, while simultaneously serving as sustenance that fuels the protagonist’s growth.

It has been announced on the official X account that Early Access for this title will begin on November 6.

While the previous title supports Japanese and the “Japanese Voice DLC” featuring Ami Koshimizu, Shizuka Ito, and others is currently available, this title does not support Japanese as of the time of writing (October 5).

However, while the game initially supports only Traditional Chinese and English, it features an alternative translation system that allows you to make changes instantly and view them in-game, as well as export them as translation templates; these can also be shared via the Steam Workshop.

Another major feature is the changed gameplay compared to the previous title: in addition to a random growth system—a departure from the first game—the game now includes a Talent System to help players clear the game smoothly, as well as an additional stat growth system designed to accommodate casual players.

The side-scrolling action game *Dungeon Munchies 2: A Second Chance at Salvation*, in which alien cuisine—whose taste is hard to imagine—plays a key role, is scheduled to begin Early Access on November 6.
