Publisher Mythwright has announced that early access for *Main Sequence*, developed by Tumbling Dumpling Studio, will begin on November 12, 2026.

Early Access with Japanese Language Support to Begin on November 12

Development began in 2023, and the Steam store page went live in late 2024. Since then, the game has undergone playtests and released a demo. It has now been revealed that Early Access for this title will begin on November 12 (international time).

Below is a brief overview of the game’s features and what the Early Access version will include.

Features of “Main Sequence”

  • Genre: Simulation/Strategy supporting single-player and online/local (LAN) cooperative multiplayer

  • Maximum multiplayer player count not announced (as of September, the developer stated that while there is no strict upper limit, performance currently decreases proportionally with the number of players)

  • Game Objective: Start with a single spaceship and aim to build an industrial empire spanning the galaxy

  • The game’s star systems are procedurally generated

  • Features elements of factory automation, logistics network establishment, and efficiency optimization

  • Spaceships and space stations are modular and can be freely designed

  • Establish a transport network using spaceships to move goods produced in factories via space stations

  • Features spaceship combat against hostile NPCs

  • Once a star system has been colonized, players can expand their operations by moving on to new star systems

About Early Access

  • Begins on November 12 (local time)

  • The duration (until the official release) is expected to be one to two years

  • From the very start, players will be able to experience the game’s core systems and a progression-driven flow where gameplay elements expand as they advance

  • The initial content volume is approximately 40 hours and is expected to increase with future updates

  • The game also features trading with NPCs

  • Prices are scheduled to increase upon the official launch (the Early Access price has not yet been announced)
