Dog has reported on the progress toward the release of the ramen shop management simulation game *Japanese Ramen Simulator*. The company also announced that it will hold the fourth closed beta test (CBT4).
Awaiting Steam review results; release date to be confirmed after approval
The game was scheduled for Early Access release on September 28, but due to delays in Steam’s pre-release review, it could not launch as planned.
According to this report, the most recent review raised issues regarding controller support settings and cloud synchronization; the developers have addressed both issues and resubmitted the game. Currently, Valve’s review team is overwhelmed with a large volume of review requests, so the developers are awaiting the review results.
The new release date and time will be finalized after the review is approved and will be announced via Steam announcements and the official Discord channel.
Hosting the 4th Closed Beta Test as an Apology
To apologize for the delay in the release and to conduct functionality testing and improvements ahead of launch, the 4th Closed Beta Test will be held. We will select up to 1,000 new participants via lottery.
In this CBT4, you’ll be able to play a version that incorporates updates, including the highly requested “Cleanup Part-Time Job” and new types of ramen.

A ramen shop management sim for up to 6 players
“Japanese Ramen Simulator” is a ramen shop management simulation that can be played by up to 6 people.A key feature of the game is that it lets you experience the full range of tasks involved in running a ramen shop—from preparing ingredients to cooking, serving, customer service, and cleanup. Your skills will be put to the test based on factors such as the texture of the noodles, the temperature of the broth, and the time it takes to serve a bowl, and you can use physics-based plating to create your own original bowl of ramen.
It was previously announced that the game reached 100,000 Steam wishlist entries on September 24.
“Japanese Ramen Simulator” is scheduled for release in Early Access on PC (Steam).
