On October 2, 2026, Basilisk Games launched the Steam store page for “The Sundered Anvil,” a 3D dungeon RPG it is developing.

This 3D dungeon RPG lets you form a party of four—using either one of the eight pre-set characters or a character you create yourself—to embark on an adventure. The developers have explicitly stated that the game is influenced by *Might and Magic* and *Wizardry*.
The custom character creation system allows you to allocate points to stats and skills, as well as choose a race and class. Character races include orcs and squirrel-people—races rarely seen in other RPGs—and with eight base classes, each offering selectable advanced classes, it seems you’ll be able to create highly detailed characters.
The dungeons include both indoor and outdoor areas. It seems convenient that you can switch the party member display to show average damage dealt, HP, and MP at a glance.
Combat is turn-based, combining ranged weapons, melee weapons, and magic. Cool-headed decision-making determines victory or defeat.

A story rich in folklore. The setting is Olytheus, a high-fantasy world.
It is a single-player-only game and can be played offline.
In addition to a wide variety of character stats and skills, thousands of randomly generated items are available.
You can form a party by customizing characters from 8 races, 8 classes, and 25 skills, or choose from 8 preset characters to start the game right away.
Set the game’s base difficulty and begin your adventure. The difficulty will not increase automatically afterward. Your survival depends entirely on the quality of your party composition.
"The Sundered Anvil" is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) in 2027. As of October 2, 2026, there is no indication that Japanese language support is planned.
