Crackshell has announced that the roguelite action RPG *Heroes of Hammerwatch II* is now fully localized in Japanese. Based on the sequel to the popular hack-and-slash action game *Hammerwatch II*, this title incorporates roguelite elements, allowing players to strengthen their characters and bases as they repeatedly tackle dungeons.

*Heroes of Hammerwatch II* is a roguelite action RPG that inherits the gameplay and world setting of the *Hammerwatch* series, reminiscent of titles such as *The Gauntlet* and *Dungeon Explorer*.

Players will adventure through a dark fantasy world—featuring lush forests and more—rendered in beautiful pixel art, and ultimately face the “Fortress of Darkness,” which changes its form with every challenge. Through your adventures, you can upgrade your equipment and steadily build up your combat strength in preparation for the next challenge.

Upgrades and abilities that significantly alter the gameplay experience are available with each playthrough, adding to the fun of crafting a build tailored to your preferences. Additionally, the “New Game+” feature allows you to tackle even greater challenges after clearing the game on a high difficulty setting.

The game supports both solo play and cooperative play with friends.
