"Big Walk," a cooperative adventure game developed by House House—known for *Untitled Goose Game: The Mischievous Goose Has Arrived!*—is currently on sale for 1,840 yen (20% off) during the Steam Autumn Sale. The sale runs through October 8. The regular price is 2,300 yen.

Walk, talk, get separated, and reunite

"Big Walk" is an online cooperative open-world puzzle adventure that can be enjoyed by 2 to 12 players. As you roam a vast island with your friends, you’ll tackle puzzles and mechanisms, use tools like walkie-talkies, binoculars, and laser pointers, and sometimes communicate using nothing but gestures—making “communication” itself the core of the gameplay.

A particularly distinctive feature is the proximity voice chat. You can hear the voices of nearby teammates clearly, but they grow fainter as you move farther away; they become muffled when separated by walls, and eventually disappear entirely.

You get separated from your friends, and the voices you could hear just a moment ago fade away. Walking alone in an unfamiliar place makes you feel strangely uneasy, but when you hear your friends’ voices again from afar, that alone brings a little relief. You can enjoy that kind of experience.

Of course, if you use Discord or similar apps outside the game, you can talk no matter how far apart you are. However, in this game, the fact that you can’t communicate at all times is intentionally part of the game design.

If possible, try to walk all the way to the end with the same group of players. You might find a slightly different meaning in the “voices” and “playing together” that you usually take for granted in games.

The 20% off sale for the “Steam” version of *Big Walk* runs until October 8. You can purchase it for 1,840 yen, down from the usual price of 2,300 yen. Please note that this discount is slightly lower than the one offered at launch. (But I really want you to play it…)
