What is “Project EGG”?

“Project EGG” is a paid subscription service that remasters and distributes retro games—primarily released for PCs and home video game consoles from the 1980s to the 1990s—so they can be played on modern PC platforms.
The lineup includes titles developed by Compile, such as the dungeon RPG *Magic Story A*, which follows the adventures of the young sorceress Arle, and *Apple Sauce*, where players click on various spots on the screen to trigger reactions and events.
Additionally, D4 Enterprises is expanding its “EGG Console” series for the Nintendo Switch. Some of the classic retro games that have been re-released through “Project EGG” are now available on the Nintendo Switch as well.
Please note, however, that using “Project EGG” on PC requires both the purchase of the software and a monthly subscription fee, so PC users are not eligible for this offer.
