Re³, an indie game production label, announced that it will release a free demo of the PC (Steam) respawn puzzle-action game *Re:Re:Re:Respawn*, developed by Studio Hii, starting October 20, and that it will participate in the online event“Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition.”
This title is a brand-new game from Studio Hi, the developer behind *P.I.*, *The Kind () Station*, and *Yugen Kaisha Warashi Real Estate*. It is also drawing attention because Kuruma Takahira of the comedy duo “Reiwa Roman” is making his debut as the game’s lead character.
A puzzle-action game where you transform your own corpse into a platform, weight, or shield to overcome challenges
*Lilili Respawn* is a 3D respawn puzzle-action game in which the protagonist, having gained the ability to leave behind their corpse and come back to life, uncovers the secrets of the massive structure known as “BOX” through repeated deaths.As the protagonist navigates a space riddled with dangerous traps, they possess a special ability that allows them to respawn in the same spot, leaving their corpse behind even after dying.
Your own body, after being defeated by a trap, serves as a platform to climb to unreachable heights, a weight to activate switches, a shield to block dangerous attacks, and sometimes even an object you can launch like a projectile. Where and how you die holds the key to solving the puzzles, and combining your corpse with environmental mechanisms creates new paths to victory.
The free demo condenses the game’s unique system—where situations and solutions change every time you die—into a roughly 15- to 20-minute experience.Furthermore, in response to feedback from various regions, we’ve decided to expand the list of supported languages. In addition to the existing Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, the game will now support a total of eight languages: Italian, German, French, and Korean.
Note that while this title features a celebrity in the lead role, the official policy permits both individuals and organizations to stream, post, and monetize gameplay videos. When streaming, viewers are advised to include the game’s title, “Lilili Respawn,” in the video title.
The free demo will be released in conjunction with the “Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition.” The release is scheduled for October 20 at 2:00 a.m.
