On September 28, Sony Interactive Entertainment began accepting purchase orders for the “PlayStation 5 Pro” at the Sony Store.
Purchase requires meeting certain conditions, such as “having played for at least 60 hours”
The model available for this offering is the “PlayStation 5 Pro (CFI-7100B01)” equipped with a 2TB SSD. If the number of applications exceeds the planned sales volume, a lottery will be held to determine who receives the console.
Several conditions apply to the application process. In addition to using a Sony Account registered in Japan, applicants must have played PS4 or PS5 games for a total of at least 60 hours using that account between September 27, 2024, and 11:59 PM on September 27, 2026.
Additionally, applicants must have the same sign-in ID for both their Sony Account and My Sony ID.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM on October 7. If there are more applicants than available units, a lottery will be held, and results are scheduled to be announced sequentially starting around October 26. Winners must complete the purchase process at the Sony Store within the specified period.
Please note that for any units not purchased by the deadline, a second lottery will be held for those who were not selected in the initial draw.
The suggested retail price for the “PlayStation 5 Pro” is 137,980 yen (tax included). Please check the official PlayStation website for details on how to apply.
