◆『Love’s Nest』

"Love's Nest," a multi-ending escape-style horror adventure game in which you must escape from a deranged girl, is scheduled for release on September 28. This adventure game challenges you to escape from a locked room to free yourself from the clutches of a so-called "yandere girl."

The player wakes up in an unfamiliar basement and finds themselves held captive by “Haru,” a yandere girl. The game vividly depicts Haru’s overwhelming expressions of love—she is determined to stay with the player no matter the cost.During the game, the system will learn the player’s preferences based on their choices. Divided into eight chapters, the game offers plenty of opportunities to experience “Haru’s” advances. While the story centers on the relationship between the player and “Haru,” it appears that “other characters” will also make an appearance.

The adorable hand-drawn cartoon visuals and the underlying splatter-like atmosphere offer a glimpse into Chinese game creators’ take on “yandere.” You can also spot screenshots parodying a certain famous game, so it looks like there will be fun to be had hunting down these little Easter eggs. Unfortunately, the game does not currently support Japanese.

◆ *GhostStory*

A gameplay trailer for the co-op horror TPS *GhostStory*, developed by the Chinese indie game studio Hardcore Creation, has been released on bilibili.

This action game is being developed collaboratively by four veteran game developers who have neither the funding nor the workspace. It is a survival-style third-person shooter based on the “Cthulhu Mythos” made famous by H.P. Lovecraft, in which players investigate a mysterious, isolated island.

As players explore the island, the weather changes moment by moment, and the ecosystem within the map shifts accordingly. The longer you survive, the greater the reward you’ll receive at the end; however, you’ll need to continuously fend off the monsters’ relentless assaults, and the difficulty will increase accordingly. You can also customize your character using items you acquire. While details are unclear, it appears there are elements that allow you to develop your own unique combat style. Currently, the game is available only in English and Chinese (Simplified).

◆ “CHERNOBORG REBIRTH”

On September 8, “Mo Ling Zhi Xing Art Creation Society,” a creative circle primarily active on bilibili, released the first promotional video for the turn-based simulation RPG *CHERNOBORG REBIRTH*, which is scheduled for release on Steam. The video provides a concise introduction to the game’s world and storyline.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization and order collapsed following a meteorite strike in 2012. In this world, which was completely transformed by the natural disaster, many vulnerable people have been left behind in the desolate wasteland, while a society based on a philosophy of selection has emerged, in which only a very small number of people enjoy a civilized lifestyle.

Although specific details about the game have not yet been revealed, the trailer concludes by announcing that a demo is scheduled for release on Steam in January 2027. Furthermore, as the trailer features narration with Russian audio and Russian subtitles, the game’s style appears to be inspired by the former Soviet bloc.

◆ “RingTower: Girls’ Rhapsody”

On September 9, a promotional video was released for the third-person open-world action game *RingTower: Girls’ Rhapsody*, which is being developed and published by Tamill.Set in a fictional modern city, this title features a lively ensemble cast of beautiful young women, each with their own unique personalities. In the game, players will freely explore the city while unraveling the story surrounding the “Ring Tower.”

You can do whatever you want—from driving around the city with these beautiful characters to blowing up cars, or engaging in gunfights while leading police cars on high-speed chases. According to the Steam page, the game is described as “not a heavy, gloomy crime drama, but a stylish, lighthearted, and energetic world.”As you can see from the footage, while dynamic action takes center stage, there are also comical (or rather, surreal) moments, such as swinging NPCs around with wires.

This game is currently open for addition to Steam wishlists. Support for multiple languages, including Japanese, is planned.
