A major collaboration event featuring *Apex Legends* and *Street Fighter 6* will take place starting September 23, 2026.
This event will feature a wide range of new content, including “Apex K.O.”—a limited-time mode where players battle in third-person perspective using special moves—a Street Fighter-style remix of Olympus, a total of eight Iconic skins, and the Mythic Universal melee item “Hadouken.”
In this article, we’ll report on the collaboration content we were able to experience ahead of the event.
A total of 8 collaboration skins

Limited-edition skins are also available for this event. They fall under the “Iconic” category, which has previously featured skins from collaborations with *FF7* and *Mobile Suit Gundam*.
The collaboration characters are as follows:
Sparrow × Ryu
Alter × Chun-Li
Bangalore × Elena
Mirage × Luke
Gibraltar × Gouki
Watson × Cammy (Her abs and erector spinae are just too beautiful)
Caustic × Blanka
Pathfinder × Dhalsim

How Fighter Mode Works
The highlight of this event is “Fighter Form,” where players battle while channeling the power of *Street Fighter 6* characters.

In the limited-time “APEX K.O.” mode, you can activate Fighter Form by filling the “Fight Gauge”—a bar with six segments displayed at the bottom of the screen.

There are two main ways to build up the gauge. One is to collect “Fighter Tokens” scattered across the field. You can select any fighter you like in the Training Grounds.

The other is to destroy the red “Punch Trucks” that appear throughout Olympus. Punch Trucks are completely immune to gunfire and can only be damaged by melee attacks. Each time you land a punch, a Fighter Token drops, and collecting these fills the gauge.
If you activate the transformation when the gauge is at least one notch full, the view switches to a third-person perspective and you transform into Fighter Form. While transformed, you cannot use firearms or abilities, but in exchange, not only does the power of your melee attacks increase, but you also gain various benefits such as reduced damage taken, increased movement speed and agility, and enhanced guarding capabilities.
Additionally, depending on the area or the flow of the match, there are situations where you can maintain your transformation without consuming the gauge.

At “Luke’s Gym,” a remodeled version of the old Fight Night area, you’ll automatically transform just by stepping into the ring—regardless of your gauge level—and can maintain Fighter Form for an unlimited time while inside the ring.
Furthermore, when a match enters the final round, “Showdown,” all players are granted unlimited gauge, and teammates who are downed or waiting to respawn will return immediately, allowing everyone to remain transformed and wage an all-out battle until only one squad remains.
Street Fighter 6 Character Abilities
In Fighter Mode, you can choose one of four characters: Ryu, Chun-Li, Gouki, or Dhalsim. Since your character’s skin doesn’t change when you enter Fighter Mode, you might find yourself using a Hadoken as Chun-Li or a Yoga Sunburst as Cammy—which can be particularly confusing for fans of the original series.
Ryu

Tactical Ability “Hadoken”: It has strong homing and a large hitbox, allowing it to hit even at long range. Interestingly, only Ryu and Gouki’s Hadoken becomes the “Zankuu Hadoken” when fired in mid-air. All characters feature voice lines for the “Hadoken”!
Ultimate “Shin Shoryuken”: Deals damage while launching enemies within the area into the air.
Normal attacks consist of a 3-hit combo dealing 35→45→60 damage.
Chun-Li

Tactical Ability “Kikouken”: Like the Hadouken, this also has strong homing.
Ultimate “Qigong Palm”: Deals multiple hits across a wide area in front.
Her normal attack is a 3-hit kick combo dealing 26→34→45 damage. She has the fastest attack speed of any fighter.
Akuma

Tactical Ability “Gou Hadouken”: Exactly the same as Ryu’s.
Ultimate “Shun Goku Satsu”: When activated, he dashes at breakneck speed toward the target location; upon contact with an enemy player, it transitions into a finisher animation to finish them off. If you get hit by this in a 1v1, there’s nothing you can do.
Normal attacks are a 44→56→75 punch combo. They deal high damage, but the attack speed is the slowest among all fighters.
Dhalsim

Tactical Ability “Yoga Teleport”: Quickly blinks a short distance. Can be charged up to 3 times.
Ultimate “Yoga Sunburst”: Fires a massive, targeted fireball. Not only does it deal massive damage and knock back enemies upon impact, but it also leaves behind a fire trap that damages any enemies it passes through.
Unlike other fighters, he does not have a ranged attack. Instead, he can teleport and, thanks to his low-gravity design, can jump higher than other fighters; his punches also have a longer reach. Damage: 26→35→45.

This collaboration—featuring a chaotic, third-person-perspective festival and a wide array of meticulously crafted collaboration items—kicks off on September 23.
