Attention is Focusing on This 3D Dungeon RPG That Evokes the Spirit of 1990s Games

This title features turn-based combat and a grid-based map structure reminiscent of 1990s RPGs. Players form a party of four adventurers and repeatedly engage in combat, search for hidden treasures, and defeat sub-bosses as they aim for the deepest depths of “Underkeep.”

While the graphics and game systems evoke a sense of nostalgia for that era, the game also prioritizes modern comfort, featuring an auto-map with custom markers, smooth controls, and clear feedback.

It has been reported that the game’s wishlist count has surpassed 70,000. Rake in Grass notes that “the wishlist isn’t everything,” but adds that “it’s a fantastic achievement for our small ‘garage’ team.”

The post on X also included a chart showing changes in the wishlist count, revealing an explosive surge following the “Steam Next Fest” and the release of the demo.
