Dragami Games and Taiwan-based NADA HOLDINGS announced viaPS Blogthat “Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back,” a brand-new entry in the “Lollipop Chainsaw” series, is scheduled for release on PS5 in 2027.
Juliet returns in a new costume, while Nick ends up as a severed head once again
This title is a brand-new installment in the "Lollipop Chainsaw" zombie action series, the first of which was released in 2012.
Following the 2024 remake *Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP*, the series’ global cumulative sales have surpassed 1.5 million copies. The official title and supported platforms—which had been kept under wraps at the time of the September 3 announcement—have finally been revealed.
The protagonist, Juliet, dons a new costume and mows down hordes of zombies with her upgraded chainsaw. Her boyfriend, Nick, appears once again as a severed head. It looks like this title will once again offer the contrast between its pop and cute visuals and the exhilarating thrill of ruthlessly mowing down swarms of enemies.

This project is being developed through a partnership between the Taiwanese IP company NADA HOLDINGS and Dragami Games, the studio behind *Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP*. In 2025, the two companies announced a collaboration aimed at the multifaceted IP expansion of *Lollipop Chainsaw*.
Game development will be handled by JP UNIVERSE, a company founded in 2022 by Hajime Tabata of *Final Fantasy XV* fame. Additionally, Masahiro Yuki, who wrote the scenario for the original game, and Neko Shogun, who worked on character design and art, have also joined the development team.
Playable Demo at the Sega/Atlus Booth at TGS 2026
This title will make its world debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026), taking place at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to 21. Four playable stations will be set up in the “Sega Partners Corner” within the Sega/Atlus booth, and appearances by cosplayers as well as a special stage event featuring key staff members are planned.
The special talk show “Lollipop Chainsaw NEW PROJECT” will be held on the Sega Event Stage on September 18 at 11:40 a.m. and on the TGS 2026 Main Stage on September 19 at 9:40 a.m.
