NetEase Games has announced that it will release the major update “Isles of Abyss” for the free-to-play open-world survival game *Once Human* on PC (Steam/Epic),iOS,Android,PS5, andXBOX Series X|Sstarting October 22.

Set in a world teeming with the supernatural, this multiplayer open-world survival game challenges players to survive. The major update “Isles of Abyss” expands the playable area beyond the islands to include the open sea and the deep ocean, allowing players to enjoy a voyage filled with mystery and adventure set against the backdrop of the sea—a “living entity” in its own right.
The released trailer introduces five threats that players will face based on the “Six Rules” recorded in a diary—rules that serve as a key to the story and lure players out to sea.It is said that the five sea regions indicated by each rule—such as a lighthouse staring at the player with dazzlingly bright eyes, flowers blooming on the water’s surface, and a moving island—lead to an even greater mystery.
“Once Human” is currently available as a free-to-play game on PC (Steam/Epic),iOS,Android,PS5, andXBOX Series X|S. The major update “Isles of Abyss” is scheduled for release on October 22.
