On September 14, 2026, Nintendo updated the official website for *Fire Emblem: A Thousand Flowers*, scheduled for release on September 17 for the Nintendo Switch 2, and released a promotional video for the game.
A game introduction video lasting approximately 7 and a half minutes has been released

The game is set in a world on the brink of destruction at the hands of the demon lord Barol. The protagonist arrives as the savior of this world.

Players can customize the protagonist’s hairstyle, hair color, and outfit. Try finding your favorite combination.

With the help of Photona, the goddess of fate, the protagonist travels back in time to the world as it was five years ago. The protagonist’s goal is to alter the fates of four characters involved in the “Great Gladiatorial Festival”—a tournament where the winner’s wish is granted—and recruit them as allies.

Battles in the “Great Gladiatorial Festival” follow the familiar simulation RPG format. Before each match, you’ll gather allies, train them, and aim for victory.

The four key characters from the world five years ago can each use powerful techniques called “Blaze Arts.” While these techniques drain the user’s HP, they’re best reserved for critical moments.

During the free time between matches, you can train your characters in the “Arena” or have them take “Certification Exams” to change their job classes.

You can also deepen your bonds with various characters and recruit them as allies. Collecting and strengthening your allies will give you an edge in battle.

During free time, you can travel across the world map to defeat enemies scattered throughout the region and explore dungeons. You might also enjoy venturing out as an adventurer across the continent.

You can switch between the perspectives of the four key characters from the past via the “Resting Place” at your base, allowing you to play through each of their stories in parallel.

By unraveling the threads of each character’s fate, the protagonist will take on the battle against the Demon Lord Barol.
*Fire Emblem: A Thousand Blossoms* is scheduled for release on September 17 for the Nintendo Switch 2.
