Terui-do LLC has announced that it will make its debut appearance at the “Tokyo Game Show 2026” as the indie game developer community “Rojiura Developers Cloud.” Visitors can try out five titles at the Indie Game Corner in Hall 9 (Booth H9-E32).

The idea was sparked by the question: “TGS is now a five-day event—isn’t that tough for independent developers?”

“Rojiura Developers Cloud” is a community that was formed in response to TGS expanding to a five-day event for the first time in its history starting in 2026.

Maintaining a booth for such an extended period places a significant burden on individual and small-scale game developers, both in terms of manpower and finances. When Kiiido recruited participants via social media, the Discord server’s membership soon surpassed 100. The community has since grown to include not only game developers but also translators, streamers, and media professionals.

At this year’s TGS, the community will be exhibiting at a joint booth with Blast Edge Games Co., Ltd. Five volunteer teams of developers from the community will be showcasing their works.

“XenoTechArena” is a roguelike arena shooter based on the concept: “Don’t defeat your enemies—slam them into each other!!” Its defining feature is triggering chain damage by knocking enemies back so they collide with other enemies. The game also features “Class Fusion,” which allows players to fuse classes such as “Ninja Head,” “Geisha Girl,” and “Sumo Rider.” It is scheduled for release on Steam in 2026, and a demo is currently available.

*Godslayer: Blue Silver* is a territory-conquest simulation RPG where bonds with allies and the player’s choices influence the story. Sushi Shogi

If you take your opponent’s sushi, you have to pay for it. As the name suggests, “Sushi Shogi” is a turn-based board game that fuses “Shogi” with “paying for sushi.”

While capturing your opponent’s pieces—the sushi—gives you an advantage on the board, you must pay for the sushi you’ve taken out of your own pocket. Capturing high-end sushi deals a heavier blow to your wallet, creating a unique strategic dynamic not found in standard Shogi: “I can take it, but I don’t want to.”

In addition to a single-player puzzle mode and CPU matches, the full version is scheduled to support local and online 1-on-1 matches. It is set to launch on Steam in March 2027, and a free demo is currently available.

Delivering Indie Games from the “Back Alleys”

“Rojiura Developers’ Cloud” reportedly began as a solution to the practical problem of “how individual developers could exhibit at a TGS that had been shortened to five days.” As a result, it has evolved into a community where developers who create games with unique quirks and twists gather.

In addition to hands-on demos at the booth, a campaign is planned where visitors who take a photo and post it on social media with a designated hashtag will receive one piece of merchandise from the featured titles.

The joint booth of “Back Alley Developers Cloud” and Blast Edge Games Co., Ltd. is scheduled to be located in Hall 9, Indie Game Corner (H9-E32) at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.TGS 2026 will be held at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to September 21, 2026.
